May 8 - Ten NLHS senior
athletes were presented scholarships
during the annual sports banquet
from the North Lamar Athletic
Booster Club. The recipients are
Robyn Atkins, Chelsea Steelman,
Rachel Edwards, Devin Wright, Logan
Anglin, Ali Stone Emily Fouse, Cole
Barker, Kory Lawson, and Hannah
Grider.

May 6 - NLHS sophomore Sarah
Gandy compete at the Cup of Flanders
in Belgium and
placed 1st on
double-mini trampoline in the
individual competition then was
selected to compete in the team
finals for the USA for which they
also placed 1st. She made finals on
trampoline as well finishing 5th
after finals, bringing her up to 2nd
in the nation for points in the
elite ranking system for
trampoline.

placed at the State UIL Meet.
Matthew Corley was named the 4A
State Champion in Lincoln Douglas
Debate and Katie Caraway placed 4th
in Poetry Interpretation.
