New Chromebooks Help with Math Test Skills
The North Lamar ISD school board has given approval for a Resolution to suspend local policy provisions relating to successful performance on the math assessment as a condition of promotion for the upcoming school year only. This resolution is needed due to the newly revised math TEKS and the effect the changes will have on the spring math assessment. Student Success Initiative (SSI) grade advancement requirements for the math STAAR will not apply for the coming year only.
NLISD uses the SchoolMessenger Notification System for the Panther Alert. The system provides timely communication to parents, students, staff, and the community. If you are a staff member or have a child attending North Lamar ISD, you are automatically in the database and will receive phone notifications. However, if you would prefer to receive Panther Alerts by email or text messages, you can create your own contact preference profile. Contact Manager allows you to control the ways in which you prefer to be contacted. It also works like a mailbox, giving you a place to review messages you may have missed.

Friday Recycle Days
Help NLISD Green clubs recycle aluminum cans! Each Friday a blue trailer will be located on campuses for students, parents, and employees to drop off aluminum cans. The money will go toward our district Green Club & will in turn help keep our district looking beautiful & green. Learn more about our Green Project.
