After graduating from North Lamar High School in 1982 and spending 32 years teaching, coaching, and working in the field of educational administration, Angela Chadwick returned to North Lamar ISD in 2018 as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. Dr. Chadwick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Education, and Doctor of Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Angela began her career in education with her first teaching job as a mathematics teacher at Cooper HS in Cooper, TX, and worked at Paris ISD and Fannidel ISD before joining the administrative team at North Lamar.
Working for and attending North Lamar ISD is nothing short of a family tradition for Dr. Chadwick. Not only did her husband and both parents work and retire from NLISD, but her two sons graduated from North Lamar as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. It is her sincere desire that every student who attends North Lamar ISD is greeted with loving and compassionate teachers and staff. It is also her goal that all students receive educational and social experiences that lead them to their greatest personal and career successes.
