North Lamar libraries are members of Digital Knowledge Central. This is a collection of relevant online resources. These resources are available to NLISD students and faculty from school and home. Each campus is provided with user names and passwords. Please contact Melanie Loughmiller at mloughmiller@northlamar.net or call the library at your child's campus to receive the username and password.

EBSCO enables students and teachers access to both EBSCOhost and Searchasaurus, an icon-based middle and primary search tool. These two online databases provide the highest quality full text periodicals, full text biographies, primary source documents, essays, encyclopedias, almanacs, reference books, pamphlets, newspapers, transcripts, photos, maps. These resources complement EBSCO’s superior periodical collection. |

Encyclopedia Britannica Online offers three complete online encyclopedias with related Internet links and a multimedia collection. This resource includes access to an online dictionary, atlas, bibliographies, annotated timeline, Spotlight features, Learning Materials, and much more. |
