Hello my name is Amber Clark.  I grew up in Honey Grove, Texas.  After graduating high school, I attended Texas A& M University-Commerce and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  I then received my Master's of Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

I taught in Bonham for six years.  I have taught 1st and 3rd grades.  I had experience working with regular education,  the Gifted and Talented inclusion students, along with special education and emotionally disturbed.

My husband Chris and I have been married since 1998.  We have two children, Madelyn and Connor. 

Chris is a varsity football and girls' golf coach at North Lamar High School.  Madelyn is seven and is in 2nd grade at North Lamar.  Our son, Connor, is four years old.

This is my 4th year at Higgins Elementary.
