| The counselor serves the school and its students in several capacities:
* Classroom Guidance * Small Group Counseling * Individual Counseling * Consulting with parents and teachers to help students.

There are several small group counseling groups starting this semester
that cover various issues: * Self-Esteem * Family Issues * Social Skills/Manners * Anger Issues If you think your child would benefit from joining one of these counseling groups please communicate with your child's teacher or the counselor.

Set regular bedtime, morning, and homework routines for your child * Provide "choices" for your child to avoid power struggles on daily decisions. * Encourage and support your child in school. * Establish clear boundaries and limits for your child and be firm and consistent with discipline. |
