| The purpose and aim of the organization is to improve the standards of the group through study and professional growth, to promote fellowship, to increase intelligent interest in school and community relationships, and to render a finer and more efficient service to our schools. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

All paraprofessionals
are invited to join. The members meet to get to know each
other and support one another as we do our jobs. We raise
money in order to give a scholarship to a graduating senior each
year. We also have lots of fun food!
Meetings are held once a month during the months of October, November, December, February, March, April, and May. Each December, we hold an auction at one of our campuses. The money for the scholarship is raised at this auction. Loads of fun, food, and excitement! NLESSA also hosts a dinner in the spring for the Board of Trustees and campus administrators with spouses or significant other. The May meeting is the installation of Officers for the upcoming year, and is usually held at a local restaurant. |
