Students in grades 4 and 5 find Bailey Intermediate to be an exciting place to learn and enjoy the basic subjects along with music. Working to develop responsibility and self-discipline the campus has designed its own student management plan. |

Children from three years of age through first grade at Higgins Elementary find challenging programs in this Texas Mentor School. They are immersed in literacy and enjoy "Math Their Way." A brain based physical education class and an outdoor learning area enhance their experiences. |

Stone
Middle School For the first time, children from all parts of the district come together at Frank Stone Middle School. Stone is made up of grades 6, 7, and 8. The mission of Frank Stone Middle School is to meet the students where they are, to develop the skills they will need to take them places they have yet to go. The school was once again rated as “Recognized” by the Texas Education Agency. There are over 700 students and 75 staff members that make up the middle school. |

Parker Elementary
At Parker Elementary children from Head Start to grade 5 enjoy their beautiful, natural rock structure located on Highway 271 in Powderly. The school was also rated as "Recognized" by the Texas Education Agency and serves children in the northern section of the district. Parker shares its outdoor walking and nature trail with the community. |

Lamar High School
Over 900 students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 fill the hallways of North Lamar High School. Opening in October of 1996, the building received an award for its design. Students are encouraged to follow the state's recommended plan or Distinguished Achievement Plan for graduation. In addition, many of the seniors are recognized as Texas Scholars. |
