Terry Kesler (left), delivered 200 white boards to
Amanda Akard and Kristin Howard's kindergarten
classes at Higgins Elementary. The students will
use the donated boards to write on with dry erase
markers when working on lessons in class.

The Everett
Elementary third graders celebrated 100% passing on
the TAKS reading test by throwing pies into the
faces of the principal, third grade teachers,
counselor, and custodians during a celebration
assembly. Waiting to be hit with a pie in the face
are Carey Malone, principal and Rebecca Wood,
teacher.
